Utilizing MYOB accounting software, you'll manage a diverse range of financial tasks, from BAS preparation to payroll processing.
This position offers the perfect blend of autonomy and support, allowing you to showcase your expertise while contributing to the company's growth.
You'll work closely with the management team and external tax accountants, ensuring seamless financial operations in a virtual setting.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a flexible, remote work environment and is excited about the prospect of shaping financial processes in a digitally transforming business.ResponsibilitiesManage financial data using MYOB, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and submit quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS)Process staff superannuation payments, maintaining compliance with regulationsHandle payroll tasks, including processing and documentationPerform regular account reconciliations to maintain financial integrityCollaborate with external tax accountants, preparing necessary financial dataOptimize financial processes for a virtual work environmentProvide insights and recommendations for improving financial efficiencyRequirementsProven bookkeeping experience, preferably in Australian retail or SME contextProficiency in MYOB accounting softwareStrong knowledge of Australian tax regulations and BAS requirementsExperience with superannuation payment processing and payroll managementExcellent attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data handlingSelf-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote settingStrong virtual communication skills and adaptability to new technologiesFamiliarity with transitioning financial processes to digital platformsCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security in a virtual environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
