The Treasury Technology team builds and supports solutions for Westpac Group Treasury's management of core Funding, as well as measurement and management of Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk.
Treasury Data Platforms are a central function of the bank's core operations, and over the next few years will see considerable transformation from Treasury's data modernization strategy, as well as impact from the core banking technology simplification program.
The Principal Solutions Designer is an important new role that will oversee the solution design and planning of the many interdependent streams.
What is required for the role: Core accountability for leading Data Solutions and Integration impact across Treasury and Enterprise programsConsultation and Engagement Upstream and Downstream across Group functions at GM levelPropose solution options for re-engineering larger pieces of end to end and participate in the buildEngagement with CTO Architecture on Solution ImpactsSolution Delivery planning cognizant of multiple interdependent initiatives including Treasury Data Platform Cloud Migration What do I need?
Responsibilities will include:
Very strong batch data ingestion/processing experienceExtensive Solutions Designer experience at a senior level - leading Data Solutions and Integration impactSolution & Data Designer/Architect/Security/Compliance experienceLegacy and Modern Data related technologies experience - SQL Server, Azure, Synapse, SPARK & SQLStrong presentation and communication skills to GM levelMust have financial services experience How do I apply?
