Platform EngineerJoin Zip's Technology function, responsible for building and maintaining seamless, secure and sustainable platforms that enable customers to shop with confidence and merchant partners to grow their brands.As a Platform Engineer at Zip you'll be an SME in infrastructure and CICD Operations, working to ensure that the platforms that underpin the experience that millions of customers are having are reliable and streamlined.Our platforms team are working across a range of critical projects from cloud migrations, networking and general deployment and maintenance of infrastructure as code to meet business requirements. What really matters to us is that you're a great fit with our four Values, and have a desire to learn and grow.So whether you meet some or all of the desirable attributes below, we'd still love to hear from you:Practical knowledge and experience of AWS cloud servicesKnowledge of Kubernetes administrationExperience in Linux and shell scripting Language agnostic (e.g. Python, NodeJs, or equivalent)Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, such as TerraformUnderstanding of networking, web and infrastructure securityExperience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline development (Gitlab, Bitbucket)Ability to problem solve and work independently to work through solutionsAn aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
