Busy Bees at Maitland At Busy Bees child care in Maitland, a 96-place service, you'll find a warm and nurturing learning environment and inspiring opportunities for children aged birth to 5 years.
Our purpose-built facilities are filled with educational play space and Educators who are dedicated to encouraging children to grow.
Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team as a Assistant Manager/2.
Someone who strives to excel and leads by example, setting high industry standards for their team.
Working collaboratively with the Service Manager to help their service, by creating quality relationships with children, parents, and staff, and reaching the heights of success.
Essential Qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.Current and valid Australian Work Rights & Photo ID.*Candidates who are working towards their Early Childhood Teaching qualification (Bachelor) will also be considered for this role.Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS) to support quality outcomes.Experience leading and mentoring a team, especially in the absence of the Service Manager.Capability in managing daily operations, including staffing and parent communications.Ability to communicate effectively with families, staff, and regulatory bodies.Proficiency in management software for communication, documentation, and reporting & ability to address and resolve issues within the service.Commitment to ongoing training and development & skills in mediating challenges among staff or with families.What we offer: Fantastic, above-award hourly rates in this leadership opportunityGet a Laundry allowance and annual Uniform allocation in addition to your salaryWork with a supportive & inclusive team and Management in a leading Childcare ServiceContinue improving your knowledge and skills with our Busy Bees training platformAccess to the Busy Bees' Employee Assistance ProgramAn opportunity to participate and travel globally via our Global Talent Exchange ProgramIf you aren't an exact match, still apply nowHave a Bee-autiful day
