About the role: Hours per week: 22.8 Employment Status: Fixed term, Part-time Maternity Leave backfill Appointment Available: up to 12 months from 27th January 2025 Occupational Therapists are provided with: Regular supervision & support alongside education and training calendars, seminars all delivered by clinical experts Individually learning and career pathway opportunities Local occupational therapy monthly meetings plus the opportunity to attend occupational therapy-led Communities of Practice Strong focus on self-care & wellbeing A regular day will see you: Contribute to the development of education, professional development and training programs for Occupational Therapists inclusive of graduate and early career Occupational Therapists Develop resources that support the education and training element of the workforce Design, develop and implement a robust student clinical placement program Ensure appropriate, contemporary learning & development strategies are implemented.
Support wellbeing and resilience of the occupational therapy workforce through supervision, peer reflection & other support frameworks.
About you: As the Clinical Educator Occupational Therapy, you will have excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care.
You'll bring energy and drive to your work with a keen interest in developing your own skillset as well as the confidence and competencies of others.
To be successful in this role, you will be: An Occupational Therapist with a passion to work in the field of mental health and AHPRA eligible registration.
