About the role: The Medical team at cohealth provides holistic, value-based medical services across the Northern and Western suburbs of Melbourne. GPs work collaboratively with the broader health team to deliver client-centred, evidence-based, holistic care, including extensive support for clients with chronic conditions.
We require a GP to work in our clinic in Bourke Street every Monday from 9:00 until 13:00.
Key Responsibilities: Independently provide and coordinate comprehensive medical care for patients, their families, and the communities we serve.Provide the patient and their family with initial, comprehensive, preventive, coordinated, and continuing medical care.Actively participate in discussions regarding the vision and directions of the medical clinics and provide ideas about ways to improve service quality.Provide home visits to eligible clients as per appointment schedule.What cohealth offers: Exciting parental leave benefits:cohealth offers primary carers 14 weeks paid parental leave upon completion of only 6 months of continuous service.Eligible co-workers will continue to receive superannuation on unpaid parental leave as well.Counselling services for you and your immediate family through our EAP-Access provider, and mindfulness, resilience, and wellbeing programs.We offer inclusion, equality, and opportunity in a workplace where making a difference counts (based on our guiding principles and values).RACGP Vocationally Registered General Practitioner.Minimum Requirements: Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria current Practicing License.
All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), completion of a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza within 12 weeks of commencement. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
