About the role
Are you a talented Graphic Designer with a passion for creating engaging content across both digital and traditional platforms?
Solbari is seeking a creative powerhouse to join our Marketing team for a 12-month parental leave cover.
This role will play a key part in driving brand engagement and commercial performance by delivering dynamic, visually captivating content that elevates our brand across multiple regions and channels.
At Solbari, your design work will not only captivate audiences but also contribute to our mission of promoting sun safety and skin health across the globe.
From email campaigns to social media, website content, print collateral, and more—you'll be responsible for maintaining a consistent, creative visual identity that amplifies Solbari's mission.
Reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate with our Brand Marketing, Product and Digital & Ecommerce teams to design and produce high-quality assets that resonate with our audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Execution Across All Channels: Design engaging content for email campaigns (Klaviyo), social media, website (Shopify), print materials, packaging, and other traditional media.
Concept Development & Presentation: Collaborate with our Senior Marketing Manager to develop and present initial design concepts that align with creative direction and brand guidelines.
Brand Evolution: Constantly seek design inspiration, ideate, and present fresh design solutions that help evolve and strengthen the Solbari brand.
Photoshoots Collaboration: Be hands-on in photoshoots—helping with concept development, creative direction, and day-of execution to ensure brand consistency across both campaign and ecommerce shoots.
Postproduction: Edit and optimise imagery (resizing, retouching, compositing, colour correction) for use across Solbari's website and social media channels.
Brand Consistency: Ensure the Solbari brand guidelines, colour schemes, and layouts are executed consistently across all design projects and touch points.
Storytelling through Design: Help articulate Solbari's mission and values by creating visual assets that communicate 'our why' and engage our audience emotionally.
Manage Multiple Projects: Confidently juggle multiple design projects, adapting to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within a digitally-led, direct-to-consumer business.
Proven track record in executing cross-platform campaigns (websites, email marketing, social media, print).
Strong conceptual thinking and experience in digital design and creative problem-solving.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premier Pro) and Figma.
While not the core focus, experience in UX/UI and an interest in creating photography and video content for social is a plus.
Familiarity with Shopify+ and Klaviyo platforms is advantageous.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to feedback and meet deadlines.
A team player with a keen eye for detail, self-motivated, and passionate about creative work that makes an impact.
