Regents Park State School , located in the Logan West Corridor, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated educators to join our team:
We are looking for an engaging HPE teacher to continue providing a diverse range of sporting opportunities that are highly valued by students, parents, and staff.
The HPE teacher will also lead and mentor Student Leaders (House Captains and Vice-Captains) in fostering team spirit and organizing house events throughout the year.
We are also seeking a passionate Classroom Music teacher to deliver a strong music program encompassing a broad range of musical skills and instruments while integrating other strands of The Arts curriculum.
This role includes creating opportunities beyond the classroom, such as concerts, showcases, and participation in events like Wakakirri, fostering skills in music, dance, and drama.
Regents Park State School serves a diverse student population, with students eager to engage in enriching opportunities.
Our staff values collaborative professional development, supported by weekly Collaborative Inquiry Cycles (CIC).
These sessions bring together specialist teachers to enhance curriculum design, teaching strategies, and student outcomes while fostering a strong professional community.

Health and Physical Education (HPE) Teacher - Prep - Year 6 Classroom Music Teacher - Prep - Year 6 - (0.7 FTE) What is in it for you?

Applicants for these positions must possess:
Music Teacher - Music training and a passion for music to develop the whole child.
- Ability to plan, teach, assess and report on the music curriculum and the broader Arts curriculum as necessary.
- A broad skill set in music and instruments to ignite passion and engagement in the music curriculum.
HPE training and experienced teacher.
- Ability to plan, teach, assess and report the HPE curriculum.
- A broad skill set in various sports to develop students' physical motor skills and abilities.
A relevant teaching qualification.
Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
Pre-service/graduate teachers must have been granted provisional registration prior to commencing employment as a teacher.
Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
Working rights in Australia, which means you have, or you are eligible to obtain a valid Australian Visa with work rights.
