Today, MINISO operates over 5,000 stores in 100 countries, bringing joy and high-quality life experiences to consumers globally.About the Role:As a Junior Buyer, you will assist in sourcing and purchasing products that align with Miniso's brand strategy and meet consumer demands. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, monitor market trends, and ensure the timely delivery of products to stores. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your buying skills within a fast-paced, international retail environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in Product Selection: Support the Senior Buyer in identifying and selecting products for different categories, ensuring they align with consumer trends and the company's visual merchandise standards.Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify product trends and consumer preferences, providing input on potential new products.Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and work with the logistics team to ensure the right products are available in stores.Negotiation: Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.Sales Performance Analysis: Track sales performance of products and provide feedback on the success of purchases, making recommendations for future buying decisions.Compliance: Ensure all products meet Australian retail regulations and Miniso's quality standards.Administrative Support: Handle purchase orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate records of all buying activities and relevant information in the SAP system.Qualifications:Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a buying or merchandising role, preferably within retail.A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.Proficient in both Chinese and English as working languages is a must.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and team collaboration.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, taking guidance from senior team members.What We Offer:Opportunities for career growth within a global brand.A dynamic and supportive work environment.
