Our client, a highly respected design firm specialising in residential, commercial, interior, and landscape design, is looking for a passionate and skilled Junior Building Designer to join their dynamic team.

Starting in January 2025, this role offers the perfect opportunity to set the tone for a successful year.
You'll be working with a leading firm that collaborates with volume builders to deliver outstanding residential designs.
They provide ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and career growth.
Here's what you'll be up to: Managing multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy. Preparing Concept, Preliminary, and Working Drawing sets. Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and standards. Working independently while remaining accountable and engaged as part of a team. What you need to bring: Proficiency in ARCHICAD with at least 1 year of experience using this program. 1–3 years of professional experience within a project building company or drafting firm (not architectural firms). In-depth knowledge of current Australian Standard Building Codes and Practices. Strong technical writing skills and the ability to source, understand, and apply Covenants, POD, and QDC Building Development Codes. A clear understanding of construction methods and processes. A portfolio showcasing your work, supported by references validating your experience and skills. What's in it for you?
