We hold HSQF, NDIS & NSSAB registrations, and are a committed Child Safe organisation.We are seeking an outstanding Head of Finance to join our Leadership Team. The Head of Finance will play a crucial role in managing Younity's financial health and will add great value to our Leadership function. The Head of Finance will be required to work across multiple financial environments including our Community Services not-for-profit, our new non-state special assistance school, The Younity School, and our soon to be live Leap NDIS Solutions, providing NDIS funded supports to our clients. This is a truly dynamic and evolving role that will require current understanding of at least one of these sectors.Key AccountabilitiesFinancial Planning and StrategyBudgets and ForecastingOperational Efficiency and Cost ManagementFinancial ReportingRisk Management and ComplianceCash Flow and Grant ManagementPayroll & Accounts processingThis would suit someone who:Brings a strong track record in financial leadership within dynamic, multi-division organisations, with experience in not-for-profit and/or non-state school sectorsIs innovative and solution-focused, able to navigate complexity with a clear vision for sustainable financial growthThrives in a culture of passion, creativity, and community impact, bringing energy and inspiration to drive Younity's mission forwardDemonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, building trust, rapport, and collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levelsEssential Criteria:Degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related fieldSignificant experience in strategic financial management and developing and implementing financial strategies that support organisational goalsProven ability to operate at an Executive Level within a multidisciplinary Leadership TeamStrong knowledge of compliance within Australian not-for-profit and/or non-state school environmentsExperience with Grant Management and Reporting requirements across not-for-profit and/or non-state school environmentsDetailed knowledge and abilities in financial and related technologiesIf you're ready to be part of a dynamic team where inclusion, innovation, and impact are at the heart of everything we do, we invite you to apply.Commencing January 2025, the Head of Finance is a full-time position reporting to the CEO.Application ProcessApplications close Monday 2 December 2024 and should be emailed to Brendan Fraser at ****** should be submitted as a single PDF document containing:A one-page cover letterTwo-page statement responding to the Essential CriteriaCurriculum Vitae which includes names and contact details of two professional referees to whom you reportedApplications will be assessed as received.
