Infosys Consulting - a real consultancy for real consultants.RequirementsAn engineering manager with consulting experience is responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering team within a consulting firm. This individual will lead and coordinate the efforts of engineers working on various projects for clients, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading and managing a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure project success.Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client needs and expectations.Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and develop innovative engineering solutions to meet their needs.Providing technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, helping to solve complex problems and overcome challenges.Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.Ensuring that all engineering work meets industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.Conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback to team members to support their professional development and growth.Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the consulting firm's engineering capabilities.Overall, an engineering manager with consulting experience plays a critical role in ensuring the success of engineering projects within a consulting firm, delivering high-quality solutions to clients while managing resources effectively and efficiently.Thought Leadership & Practice DevelopmentLead the development and delivery of service offerings.Provide insights into new and emerging perspectives.Point of view (POVs) on core service IT offerings, emerging technologies, and practices.POVs on Business, Cloud, and Digital Transformations.Provide patterns, best practices, and a white paper on IT strategy and service offering-related areas.Capture work products, insights gained, and intellectual property created.Directly contribute to capability development.Expand, publicize, and support continuous development through the firm's knowledge management system.Stays informed on developments in IT practices and emerging technologies.Actively works to update/upgrade the level of expertise or knowledge.Ability to share his/her expertise with others on the team and with the client.Sales and MarketingRFP and Client proposal development.Ability to lead and drive compelling business cases and client presentations.Contribute towards points of view (POVs) through blogging, white papers, and other thought leadership.Lead work streams to aid the development of new business opportunities.Conduct market/client research and industry analysis.Measures of SuccessLead consulting engagements on all levels.Realizing benefits and meeting agreed time, budgetary, and quality measures.Achievement of revenue contribution and utilization targets.Contribute to practice and capability development.BenefitsWe offer you great opportunities within a dynamically growing consulting organization.
