We also offer customized, integrated solutions for protection system design, automation, control, and communication, tailored to our clients' needs.About the RoleWe are seeking an Experienced Team Leader to lead our highly experienced NSW Distribution Design and Engineering team.
If you are ready to take the next step in your professional career, please read on and apply nowKey ResponsibilitiesStrong first principle understanding of electrical engineering fundamentalsDemonstrated ability to think strategically and be comfortable with moving between a strategic and tactical mindsetLiaising with electrical authorities, councils, clients, and internal engineersExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsSound ability to manage and influence team membersDemonstrated experience in 132kV to 230/400V investigation, analysis, scoping.Detailed design for overhead and underground DNSP networks, preferably in Endeavour and AusgridDesign of Asset relocations on major roads, padmount substations, feedersOverhead and Underground power line design & modellingKnowledge in Powerlines Pro, Catan, PLSCADD, Argon, CymCAP, AutoCadPrepare and collate associated documentation to support design submissionQualificationsStrong NSW ASP Level 3 Design (Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy)Tertiary Electrical/Power QualificationsMinimum of 10 years' engineering experience in consultancy or power utility environmentMotivation, energy, and an innovative mindExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and work ethic skillsNER/NPER QualificationKnowledge in NSW DNSP standardsAS3000 knowledge (Desirable)Why Join Us?At APD, you will have the opportunity to learn from a large team of specialists, use state-of-the-art software and tools, and explore various roles within the power engineering and telecommunications industry.APD is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
