Clough has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Buyer to join the Supply Chain Team on a new project. This role will be based in Karratha or FIFO from Perth/ capital city.
Dampier Bulk Handling Facility (DBHF), is a wharf structure to be built to support the export of urea in bulk quantities through the Port of Dampier. The project will require the demolition and removal of decommissioned marine structures, the construction a new land backed wharf, land redevelopment, drilling and blasting of hard and abrasive rock areas, capital dredging and relocation of the blasted rock and marine sediments to the designated spoil grounds within the Port and the construction of a new vessel berthing pocket and vessel manoeuvring area.

Responsibilities:Supporting the Supply Chain Manager and coordinating with corporate procurement, to define the strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems goods for the project.Manage the sourcing process including preparing proposals, contracts and negotiations.Manage compliance, analysing, comparing and assessing the offers and preparing summary tables of the final offers and recommendations.Supporting Regional Supply Chain Managers to create procurement plans, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Reporting activities to manage and mitigate critical issues detected while carrying out the procurement process.Supporting the Commodity team in defining and implementing Commodity strategies.Requirements:3/5 years' experience in the same role in multinational contexts.Specialist Degree in Engineering/Economy/Business Management.Market analysis and benchmarking skills.Supply base selection, development and management.Capable of carrying out prime cost driver value analyses.Excellent mastery of MS Office; SAP MM; ORACLE.Available to travel and stay to/at worksites and joint ventures.The following skills complete the profile:Numerical and critical data analysis skills.Results-oriented.Teamwork oriented.Excellent communication and relational skills.ERP (SAP/ORACLE) knowledge.Clough's people enjoy:A competitive remuneration package.Flexible and remote work options to manage work and lifestyle commitments.Exposure to a range of iconic projects and industries.Ongoing training for career progression.Industry leading paid parental leave program from the day you join.Excellent end of trip facilities and free gym onsite.Mental health and wellbeing programs.Employee assistance program for employees and their families.Special offers on private health insurance, salary packaging, banking, travel, groceries and more.Salary continuance insurance (criteria applies).A supportive team culture and environment.We're building a diverse workforceAt Clough, we are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities in which we work and live, fostering an inclusive environment that accepts every person, embraces their strengths and differences, and provides opportunities for all to achieve their full potential.
