A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Pharmacy Assistant/ Technician with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team on a casual basis.Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care.
The successful applicant will be expected to distribute and assist in the preparation and dispensing processes for prescribed medications, manage medication inventory and ordering supplies, as well as pharmacy administrative work, including but not limited to, scanning scripts, preparing transfer medication and reconciling orders.
The successful applicant must be available to work rotational shifts, Monday to Sunday including public holidays.This position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
