Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) Full timeAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsTell me about this role:Amentum are seekingNV1 cleared Systems Designersfor design of systems & modules related to Defence Deployed ICT Environments.These roles will work in a state-of-the-art facility designed to support a range of cyber defensive and offensive capabilities. The range of activities include testing new cyber capability as well as using machine learning to better equip the ADF to manage Cyber threats. As the range of threats grow, so does the need for systems that are robust.This role offers uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including free parking, flexible working and different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave.What will I be doing day to day?Design and develop Defence Cyber warfare systems through the Defence Capability Life CycleProduce various technical and non-technical documentationDefine infrastructure architecture and dependencies with existing and new systemsEngage with key stakeholders and shape the direction of the system's integration with ADF platforms and systemsCoordinate with the project development, software developers and testing teamsBuild and sustain productive and collaborative working relationships, including professional development of team membersWhat sort of skills do I need?Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication or a related disciplineGeneric to advanced cyber qualifications or trainingBackground as a System Designer or Software Engineer on medium to large size projectsStrong Defence project or BAU experience desirableExperience with Linux operating systems and server environmentsExperience with automation tools, container orchestration tools, CI/CD tools and Hypervisor platformsAustralian citizenship and an NV1 clearance at a minimumWhat's in it for me?Flexibility - We like our employees to have the flexibility they need to live the lives they choose.
