This is an opportunity to be a part of building one of the foundational digital asset-backed lenders in the country.
As a consumer, you can borrow money with a car as security.
You can buy a house with the house as security.
You can even borrow money using shares as security.
So, why shouldn't you have the option to borrow money using your digital assets as security?
The existing team brings strengths in digital consumer lending, investment banking, and building a decentralised exchange, which currently has a market cap of US ~$2.2 billion.
The Role Reporting directly to the Executive Team, this newly created role of Responsible Manager will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements under the company's Australian Credit License (ACL).
Key Responsibilities: ? Provide leadership in managing risk and compliance frameworks.
? Maintain ongoing ACL compliance, including preparing for and managing regulatory audits.
? Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures aligned with legislative requirements.
? Foster a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the organisation.
? Maintain the organisation's strong reputation and support growth in a highly regulated environment.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: ? Proven experience as a Responsible Manager or in a similar compliance-focused leadership role.
? Comprehensive understanding of the Corporations Act, ASIC regulatory requirements, and AFSL obligations.
? Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
? Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to promote a compliance-first culture.
? A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline (highly regarded).
