Enhanced Lifestyles is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team and support a valued customer with specialised needs in his home.
At Enhanced Lifestyles, we refer to our disability support workers as Lifestyle Attendants—a term that reflects our customer-centred approach and the independence of our customers in managing their lifestyles. Whether supporting customers at home, in the community, or adapting to their changing routines, our Lifestyle Attendants provide personalised, respectful assistance tailored to each individual's needs and goals. Position DetailsLocation: Medindie, 5081, South AustraliaShifts: Monday to Thursday - 7:00am-5:00pmKey Responsibilities:Provide high quality support for a male customer with complex high needsCommunication via assistive technology as the customer is non-verbalPersonal careCommunity participationQualifications and Experience:Certificate III in Disability or Individual SupportExperience with Medication Administration, PEG - Enteral Nutrition, Dysphagia and Catheter is desirable, but further training will be providedUnderstanding of the Quality & Safeguards Commission's standardsCPR certificate completed in the last 12 monthsFirst Aid certificate completed in the last 3 yearsManual Handling completed in the last 12 monthsNDIS workers screeningSouth Australian Working with Children screeningNDIS Workers Orientation ModuleNDIS Supporting Safe Meals TrainingNDIS Supporting Effective CommunicationOther Requirements:Valid driver's license and transport the customer for community participationMale customer, requesting male support workersBenefitsSupportive, rewarding, and friendly work environmentSalary packaging benefits (up to $15,899 tax free)Relevant customer specific training providedMember led organisation – our customers are also on our boardA Little About Us:For 30 years, Enhanced Lifestyles has been delivering individualised, high-quality support across South Australia, empowering people with disabilities to live independently and make choices that matter.
