The Company
Our client is a well-established Remedial Building Company that specializes in Concrete Repair and Remedial Building works.
The Role
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager with experience in Remedial Building works to join their Sydney team.
You will have a minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Construction Manager working for a known Remedial Building Company in Sydney.
Project Managers with extensive experience in Remedial Building seeking their next step into a Management role will also be considered.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and Director, the successful applicant will have the energy and drive to achieve business growth and enhance profitability from an operational delivery point of view.
This is a "hands-on" role which requires the ability to rise to the challenge and operate in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage operations including financial and reporting aspects.
Provide outstanding customer service and utilize your communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Maximize business potential.
Mentor and coach staff by sharing your Remedial Building knowledge.
Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and estimators to achieve budgets.
What are we looking for?
Desired but not essential - Previous Carpentry tradesman background.
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Structural Engineering, or similar relevant qualification.
Minimum 6+ years of recent experience holding a position as a Construction Manager in Remedial Building works or a Senior Project Manager in Remedial Building works.
12+ years of recent experience working in Remedial Building works.
Solid understanding of all scopes relevant to Remedial Building works - Water Ingress, Concrete Repair, Concrete Spalling / Concrete Cancer, Waterproofing, etc.
Strong organizational skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work to multiple deadlines.
Full Australian working rights - No VISA sponsorship available.

Great Salary: $200,000 - $220,000 (base salary depending on Remedial Building experience) + Superannuation + Company Vehicle.
