Our client is a leading civil contractor, known for their expertise in deep excavations, microtunnelling, and pipe installation for major infrastructure projects. They emphasise safety, collaboration, and high-quality delivery across their projects, providing a supportive work environment.
Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead complex excavation and infrastructure projects, including deep shaft construction, muck removal, and the installation of structural elements. You will oversee daily construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to project schedules and standards.
Role
As a Site Supervisor, you will:
Oversee site activities, ensuring completion within budget and on timeManage and inspect the work of subcontractors, particularly for piling, shotcreting, and rock bolt installationsProvide technical guidance on deep excavation projects, including capping, waler beams, and muck removal from shaftsCoordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure efficient operationsEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standardsContribute to progress reports and collaborate with the Project ManagerRequirements Experience in managing deep excavation and complex civil construction projectsGeneral knowledge of piling, rock bolting, and shotcretingAbility to interpret drawings and manage subcontractors effectivelyStrong leadership and communication skillsConstruction General Safety Induction card and relevant trade qualificationsWhat's on Offer Competitive salary up to $190k + super + vehiclePermanent role with career growth opportunitiesWork on impactful infrastructure projects for a high-profile clientCollaborative work culture focused on safety and qualityApply
