Radiation Therapist Level 2 – Permanent - Full Time When it comes to cancer care, choose hope. Chris O'Brien Lifehouse is an internationally recognised independent, not-for-profit cancer hospital leading the way in delivering patient-centered cancer care.
It is one of only two comprehensive cancer centers in Australia, characterised by a concentration of world-leading cancer expertise and services in one facility.
We seek passionate, caring, and dedicated staff who align with our Founder's vision of creating a collaborative environment in which respect, discovery, empowerment, and nurture thrive in the interests of our patients. We are seeking organised and motivated Radiation Therapists.
The successful candidate must be competent to perform tasks as an accredited practitioner in simulation, planning, treatment, quality assurance & quality control in Radiation Therapy procedures.
Qualified to practise Radiation Therapy, current registration as a Radiation Therapist with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds (or is eligible to hold) a radiation license with the NSW Environment Protection Authority to use ionizing radiation apparatus for radiation therapy purposes.Demonstrate a commitment to the provision of exceptional patient care and the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services, with an understanding of Quality Assurance and radiation safety principles and practices.Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of Radiation Therapy (Simulation Planning and Treatment).Demonstrated ability to work successfully in small teams, self-motivated with initiative and able to cope with dynamic and changing work practices including flexibility in work hours.Good communication and interpersonal skills both spoken and written.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Desirable Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and developments in radiation therapy techniques and technology.We know you are special so Lifehouse offers you: Great people & work environmentOpportunity for professional growthWorkplace flexibility (35 hour week, 4 day week or 9 day fortnight)For more information on these opportunities please contact Catharine Duck, Director of Radiation Therapy on or If this role sounds interesting to you, please submit your application, consisting of your resume and a covering letter addressing the selection criteria.
