About Your New Role: Full-Time role managing the day-to-day operations of the departmentNurse training and developmentOverseeing nursing care and client servicesLeading and developing the nursing team and building a positive team cultureWorking closely with the AEC department leaders and the Business ManagerWorkforce planning including rosters and recruitmentClinical shifts as part of the nursing rosterInventory managementAdministrative tasks including Kronos – wage managementAbout Your Skills & Experience: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technician3+ years experience in a full-time roleTeam building skills with previous experience leading and motivating a high-functioning nursing teamExceptional organizational skillsA keen eye for rosteringAbility to work autonomouslyKeen sense of your professional identity and the importance of vet nursing, reception, and animal attendants in a successful workplaceAbout Us: Continuing Education Opportunities including our Greencross SymposiumCareer progression opportunitiesGreat new equipment including Cat Scan, Ultrasound, Endoscope, dedicated theatres, dedicated ICU, Dental Room, Blood Gas, Automated Inventory SystemNo day will be the same, but you will always have a supportive team around you and fantastic clients and pets walking through the door.
