Power & Utilities division delivers solutions for the Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Industries such as project certification and design verification, site assessment, grid connection support, supply chain quality management, project management assistance, construction supervision, as well as condition monitoring and asset management solutions.The Role:BV is seeking an experienced Senior Wind Engineer. The candidate should have a high-level understanding of the energy yield assessments and experience in design review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plants. This may include budget, schedule, quality, risk, contract and stakeholder management, supervising construction, procurement activities, negotiating with EPC, and managing industrial relations.Key responsibilities:Wind site visits, inspections, RCAsHigh-level understanding of the energy yield assessmentsDesign review, verification, and assessment of renewable energy plantsExperience with EPC, O&M and TSA contract reviewsPerform technical due diligence, construction monitoring, and payment milestone authorization of wind projectsManage the projects as the owner's engineerManage other engineering sub-consultants to meet the requirements of BV's clientsMaintain communication with engineers of other international BV offices and facilitate information sharing in the area of electrical engineering for renewable energy plantsClient liaison, including development and continual review of client requirements, managing client expectations, keeping clients informed of work progress and ensuring timely production of deliverablesParticipate and represent BV in renewable energy conferences, events, etc.Any other tasks requested by the Engineering ManagerQualifications and Experiences:Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's is preferredExperience in a consultancy environment as owner and lender engineerWind farm site experience with GWO qualificationAbility to work under pressureAbility to work with minimum supervisionThe benefits:We offer a competitive salary package and an opportunity to advance your career in a leading global organisation, as well as:• Training and Development opportunities, an annual review to plan your career development objectives for career progression.• Discounted Health & Wellbeing Platform• Free access to our Employee Assistance Program supported by Lifework's• Discounted Health Insurance with Bupa• Support from a progressive and experienced management team• Exposure to a variety of interesting and challenging work environmentsThis is your chance to secure a powerful career opportunity in a dynamic and progressive world-wide company.
