We Are Charlotte are excited to be partnering with Future Advisory in finding their next awesome Accounting Manager.
They are a team of number-loving, future-thinking accountants dedicated to putting their clients' needs first.
As the Accounting Manager at Future Advisory, you'll be leading the Narre Warren team with a focus on growth, collaboration, and making accounting fun
Your role will blend your financial expertise with a strong emphasis on team support and development, ensuring both clients and team members thrive.
You'll manage key financial tasks while guiding and coaching junior team members to success.

Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Client Care & RelationshipsHelp new clients feel right at home from the moment they onboard.Keep communication flowing smoothly throughout the partnership, always making sure they feel valued and supported.Act promptly to resolve any issues, providing tailored solutions and a positive experience.Build trust by becoming the go-to advisor, offering advice that helps their business thrive.Foster long-lasting relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals through exceptional service.Team Management & CollaborationDistribute tasks evenly, keeping workloads balanced and ensuring the team is working efficiently.Keep track of progress to ensure deadlines are met and the quality of work is top-notch.Create a supportive, open environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas and collaborating.Help the team navigate challenges, offering guidance and support along the way.Motivate the team to hit their goals while keeping the vibe positive and focused.Coaching & DevelopmentMeet regularly with team members to offer feedback and discuss their growth.Support and mentor junior staff by helping them build their skills and confidence in their practice.Identify learning opportunities to help the team thrive and enjoy what they do.Promote a culture of growth by encouraging learning from challenges.Celebrate achievements and boost morale to everyone.Financial & Process OversightEnsure financial processes are smooth and compliant, ensuring everything is accurate.Review and approve financial documents to ensure they're correct and on track.Be proactive and look for ways to make financial operations more efficient and streamlined.Make sure internal controls and regulations are always followed in everyday practice.Work with the finance team to manage budgets and offer insights into financial performance.Client & Performance ReportingKeep clients updated with regular reports on progress and financial status.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.Address any issues with client reporting and suggest ways to improve.Provide helpful insights based on performance data to help both clients and the team.Update senior management on client progress and flag any potential challenges.Strategic Planning & InnovationCollaborate with leadership to improve strategies that drive growth and efficiency.Stay informed on industry trends, keeping the company competitive and forward-thinking.Lead initiatives that improve internal systems, processes, and strategies.Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas and creative problem-solving.Share strategic insights that improve client engagement and business performance.About youYou are an awesome person with a can-do, team player attitude.Minimum 10 years experience working in an Accounting firm.Minimum of 5 years experience of managing a team of Accountants.You will have a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax laws.You will have the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively within an Accounting firm.Experience in monthly reporting, including KPIs, utilisation, and financial targets.Experience handling larger client accounts and ensuring timely billing.Client-facing skills, including the ability to field complex queries and deliver clear, practical advice on technical terms.So what's in it for you?
