About Us Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.
The Opportunity Hitachi has a rare and exciting opportunity for a strong, structured, and disciplined Leader to join the Tasmanian team in the position of Service Manager.
In this role, you will plan, lead & control all aspects of the service operations across Tasmania to meet customer expectations, whilst remaining in line with retail sales, expense & budget allocation.
Reporting to the Launceston Branch Manager you will also: Maintain compliance with WHS, Environmental and QA policiesManage financial & productivity performance of the service operation including preparation of budget, capital applications, monthly reporting; within company guidelinesAnalyse W.I.P, warranty, recoveries, expenses and reportOversee accuracy and timeliness of quotations & customer invoicingDevelop local relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients with the aim to increase labour utilisation and increase CE equipment sales in TasmaniaMentor and develop all staffThis position is best suited to someone who is determined to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to meet and exceed business objectives.
You will enjoy and be experienced in providing holistic customer service solutions from an operational standpoint.
As the ideal candidate you will also have: Experience in service operations with the ability to engage and enable a small team of dedicated and talented service staff to achieve business objectivesA commitment to enhancing relationships with customers, peers and the communityA developed understanding of OEM level services (relevant tertiary / trade qualifications will be highly regarded)Financial acumen with proven work history evaluating labour costs and project expenditureA strong ability to navigate complex issues, ambitious in achieving success.Hitachi Benefits - What's in it for you?
