Streaky Bay Hospital is looking for a Casual Administration Officer to join our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our clinical service areas on a flexible basis, providing vital support and ensuring smooth operations.
About the Role As an Administration Officer at Streaky Bay Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing general administrative and clerical services within a designated clinical service area.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administrative Support: Deliver comprehensive administrative and clerical services to ensure the smooth operation of the ward/unit, including managing client information and facilitating internal communication.Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer-focused service to staff, medical practitioners, clients, and their significant others, ensuring all interactions are professional and supportive.Communication Facilitation: Act as a key liaison between the ward/unit and other services, ensuring effective communication and coordination.Support to Senior Staff: Offer significant administrative support to senior nursing staff, assisting with various tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinical service area.What We're Looking For Administrative Skills: Proven experience in providing clerical/administrative support service, including the maintenance of records and systems.Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of individuals.Organisational Abilities: Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage information and tasks efficiently.Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to facilitate coordination within the ward/unit and with other services.For more information about the role including the essential requirements, please refer to the Job Pack provided below.
