If you're smart and organised, here's your chance to join our busy sales and customer service team as a full-time technical estimator.
What you'll be doing
You'll be a key contributor to the sales design and customer service teams.
Your primary responsibilities will be to support solution design, generate accurate costings, and prepare well-presented proposals for our Modus toilet buildings.
On any given day you will:
Support/collaborate with design consultants in reviewing specs and customer requests to determine solution design, clarifying with customers where needed Undertake detailed project costings using internal resources, external suppliers, and contractors Prepare well-presented proposals and send to customers, answering any technical clarifications Take part in team meetings and activities, contributing to the achievement of team and company goals The skills we need
This isn't a tick and flick estimating role.
You'll possess the experience to review customer requests and standards to identify any ambiguity or potential problems in order to provide each customer with the best accurate value-for-money solution that meets our target profit margins.
Preferably, you will have worked in construction or make-to-order engineering sales environments and must have previous technical sales estimation experience.
You have a practical understanding of construction, materials, components, and trades.
You have worked in sales teams, understand project sales processes, and are motivated to contribute to the achievement of team goals.
You are comfortable being held accountable and receiving feedback with a view to ongoing growth and improvement.
Your communication skills will be exemplary (spoken and written English) and you'll be a quick learner.
A genuine interest in commercial and public open space construction will be highly valued.
We will provide full training and ongoing support.
