This is a fantastic role for an experienced Building Estimator within residential construction, or a Carpenter who has done estimates/quotes, to work as a Building Estimator and commence your career in our Estimating team located at the stunning new Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting potential site issues regarding the inner urban build area Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services, and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, tradespeople, agents, and contractors are maintained and improved Metricon will offer you:

Minimum 3 years residential Estimating or Quoting experience OR Carpenters looking to get off the tools and become an estimator Carpentry trade qualification, an Associate Diploma in Building Construction, or equivalent construction knowledge The ability to produce building cost estimates with the highest degree of accuracy Proficiency in the use of Estimating Software or Excel for estimating/quoting and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional written and verbal communication skills The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven and dedicated team environment A can-do ATTITUDE If you feel you have the necessary experience and drive to meet the challenges of this position, and can demonstrate how you meet the skills and attributes, please apply with your Cover Letter and Resume now.
