How will I help?
As a Senior Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.
You'll collaborate with our Marketing teams to craft targeted campaigns that resonate with our customers.
By leveraging the power of direct marketing and digital channels, you'll help Westpac deliver personalised experiences that drive growth.
Your analytical expertise will be key to unlocking the full potential of our data.
You'll develop innovative solutions, build self-service tools, and provide actionable insights that empower our business partners to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using Teradata SQL and in-house campaign management tools.
Develop a deep understanding of Westpac databases, data structures, and analytical procedures.
Master core software packages for analysis.
Share knowledge with team members to foster collaboration and mutual benefit.
Present optimisation results, key findings, and improvement suggestions to stakeholders.
Develop and present new data-driven opportunities.
Identify and implement improvements in analysis, data, and campaign processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Understand client business objectives, recommend solutions, and secure stakeholder sign-off.
Mentor junior analysts and actively participate in meetings to provide expert guidance and support.

What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Advanced SQL, large-scale RDBMS (Teradata), campaign management software (SAS MA/MO, Teradata) MS Office Suite, R/Python programming Direct marketing, lead management, customer targeting, customer contact management Strong analytical skills, problem-solving techniques Marketing processes, database marketing, banking & finance industry Degree in IT, Maths, Statistics, Econometrics, Marketing Information Systems, or Finance 3-5 years' experience in an analytics role
