They were established over 12 years ago and have a presence in every state - with 4 offices across the country and are continuing to grow year on year.They have an incredible reputation in the market built through years of creating outstanding relationships across multiple sectors.Core continue to invest in training, development and the latest technology to improve and enhance employees' ability to perform at the highest level.With an unrivalled culture, they provide a real opportunity for all employees to add to the fast-paced, forward-thinking and innovative business and have massive incentives for all employees.The company is incredibly diverse, offers true flexibility and hybrid working, and has an incredible view of the harbour from the Sydney officeAbout the RoleCore Talent have a rare opportunity for a Head of Finance to join their fast-growing business.You will lead an excellent team, be part of the senior leadership team, and will work with the MD on Financial Strategies to continue the growth of the company.There is a huge opportunity to develop and grow your team, with the role providing a route to CFO for the right candidate in the future.Main Responsibilities include:Working with the finance team and external accountants to ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting.Monitoring and management of the finance team, including payroll and debt collection functions.Responsibility for oversight of divisional reporting across the business.Oversee and manage tax compliance, including BAS, PAYG, Payroll tax, and workers' compensation.Perform comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting and financial modelling.Work closely with the MD on financial strategies.Drive continuous improvement across the finance team.Co-ordinate annual tax returns and audits.Work with external accountants.About YouThe successful Head of Finance will ideally have worked in a recruitment company before and will have experience and ability to understand and manage a high volume, labor hire, recruitment company.You ideally will have:10+ years accounting experience, having worked as an FC / FM beforeExperience of leading a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience of contract recruitmentThe ability to develop and grow the existing finance teamA growth mindset and be forward-thinkingThe desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, innovative business.Experience of working with XeroIncredible cultureFast-paced and innovative environmentOpportunity to become CFOWork with MD dailyPotential to grow your own teamBasic salary of circa $180,000 / $190,000 + benefits and bonus
