Security Monitor

Amentum is seeking Security Monitors in Alice Springs, Australia.
As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for contractors and visitors to the site with restricted access.
You will ensure all contractors or visitors perform duties or tasks within the areas designated for that particular activity, and in accordance with site security and safety protocols.
Specific duties include: Maintain control of assigned un-cleared personnel/visitors to siteEnsure un-cleared personnel or visitors do not have access to site sensitive material and do not access unauthorized areasOperate a hand-held radio system to communicate with key stakeholdersEnsure that un-cleared personnel/visitors do not bring or use electronic equipment on the facility without appropriate authorization from the Joint Security StaffEnsure that un-cleared personnel/visitors are aware of and follow relevant evacuation lockdown and security procedures and processesActively prevent the removal or theft of items belonging to the facilityPerform duties in extreme weather conditionsMay require prolonged standing, sitting, and/or walking, climbing stairsMay be requested to assist employees in one or all of the following areas where there is an operational need for additional support including Cleaning, Food Services, TradesOther duties as required by Security ManagementRequirements: Must be an AUS citizen and possess a Secret clearance or an Australian and possess a NV1Ability to follow and comply with policy and proceduresDemonstrated capacity to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstancesCommitment to complete tasks and follow throughAbility to work professionally and independently with minimal supervisionMaintain the image of security and safety consciousnessAbility to complete White Card Training (Construction Induction)Understanding and commitment to the principles of Security and SafetyPreferred: Previous security experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
