About the Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity to join our key Defence account, Centralised Processing (CP) as a Senior Network Engineer.
Based in Melbourne, your role will perform Network Engineering functions including conceptualisation, design, implementation and optimisation in a SME capacity.
Your Qualifications and Experience: Experience in a Network Communications Engineer role or similarSpecialist skills in configuration and maintenance of networking infrastructure and working knowledge of networking technologiesDemonstrated experience configuring and managing switches, firewalls, and other networking infrastructureAbility to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues and work with other team members to identify and resolve related infrastructure issuesDemonstrated experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocolsStrong knowledge and experience across a range of technologies including Citrix load balancers, Cisco Nexus switches, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewallsProvide support and mentoring to more junior membersAble to work with Problem Management to reactive and preventative root cause analysis and investigations, often with vendors and other teamsA minimum of NV1 clearance is required for this role with the ability to obtain NV2.
