Corporate Finance Manager

The Client Based in the inner city CBD Fringe, our client is a dedicated Service provider across a range of Utilities, Social Infrastructure and Maintenance.
They have a clear history of growth and development on top of strong commercial partnerships with industry leaders across Melbourne.
With a dedicated office space, Hybrid Working arrangement and pipeline of exciting corporate developments into the New Year, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional or developing Corporate Accounting specialist to take ownership of Policy, Statutory accounts and lead a high-performing team.
The Role As Corporate Finance Manager you will be responsible for: Preparing statutory accounts and providing technical policy guidance.
Overseeing tax compliance including FBT, GST and BAS.
Preparing monthly Board and CEO packs for presentation to Executive Leadership.
Managing a dedicated team of a team of 7 (3 Direct, 4 Indirect reports).
Ad hoc tasks including reporting for corporate initiatives i.e.
acquisitions, mergers.
The Ideal Candidate To fit the ideal requirements of the position you should have: CA/CPA Qualification - this is essential as you will be in a position to mentor part-qualified staff through their accreditation.
A strong technical Accounting foundation and high-level knowledge of Accounting principals and best practice.
Demonstrated history leading a small team and assisting junior members of staff.
Confidence in working autonomously and taking ownership of tasks with minimal oversight.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to present to Executive leadership groups.
