Child & Youth Hope is a program within ICYAMHWS that supports children and young people experiencing suicidal behaviour, thoughts, or are at risk of serious self-harm. The Child & Youth Hope team supports individuals and their personal support networks for up to three months, helping them to identify and build protective factors against suicide.This is achieved through the program's coordinated care approach, which offers psychosocial, youth and family peer, and clinical support, delivered on an assertive outreach basis. There is a particular focus on intervening early to prevent crises, prioritising certain at-risk groups. The support offered is extended to the children and young people's support networks, providing a holistic, systemic approach to both prevention and aftercare intervention.About youWe are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised person to join our Child & Youth Hope team.
