Management (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeWe are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Manager to join our Australia & New Zealand regional IPH team in either Sydney or Melbourne.As the Business Solutions Manager (ANZ), you will play a key leadership role responsible for owning all the firm's business initiatives and solutions in the region. This includes strong partnership with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, challenges, and software deficiencies. You will also identify any areas for potential advancement and automation and utilize this to improve and streamline the firm's success criteria.Planning the evolution of all software whilst developing system requirements will be a key component of this role, along with having strong project management, senior leadership engagement, and presentation skills. You will assist in managing a team of skilled professionals comprising various IP systems and Business Analysts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth and successful outcomes for key projects and solutions.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of IT professionalsProvide necessary direction, coaching, and guidance to the teamDefine key metrics and KPIs for your team membersStrong experience in designing and managing business solutionsExcellent technical skills to understand and deliver on business requirementsFocus on new initiatives and drive business change across all firmsManage day-to-day operations of your remit:Regular key stakeholder engagements, business analysis/translation & system requirements, manage complex projects, cross-technology team collaborationManage and resolve all critical requirements and feature backlogs across firmsPartner with key stakeholders at member firms to evolve their business processes to meet strategic objectivesConduct continuous assessments of business procedures and devise strategies for enhancement and optimizationIdentify synergies across firms and collaborate with Global IT teams as requiredOversee RFPs and review solution proposals for new technology acquisitionsKeep up with new technology products and advancements in the IT industryEnsure all IT projects, solutions, and processes are documentedComplete any other tasks as directed by the Regional Head of IT (ANZ)Projects & Change Management:Manage the implementation of strategic IT & Business projects across all firmsManage handovers from projects to BAU supportAttend Change Board meetings and review and approve relevant changesManage Business Change communicationsResponsible for relevant 3rd party vendors and contract negotiations & renewalsInvoice approvals and Request for Proposal experienceSecurity & Risk:Adhere to IPH cyber policies to protect against cybersecurity threats/breachesAssist in the annual audit for IT processes, systems, and solutions as directed.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Tertiary or professional qualification in IT/Computer Science. ITIL (desirable)Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a people management or similar role5+ years' experience with IP systems or software deliveryStrong leadership and management skills with proven ability to lead/manage a team of engineers and achieve results.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management, customer service, and key business stakeholder engagement.Experienced in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiencesChange Management training and certification an assetDemonstrates a focus on quality documentation and continuous improvement.Project management experience with proven ability to deliver on deadlines, troubleshoot problems, and find solutions.Service-oriented mindset and encourages team members to provide a high quality, timely service to the company and its firms and increase team morale.Relevant business experience within the legal industry sector with specific knowledge of IP software solutions would be considered a strong assetFinancial mindset to help deliver and manage approved budgets.We kindly inform you that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly.About Us:IPH Limited is the holding company for intellectual property ("IP") and associated companies offering a wide range of IP services and products.
