We currently have an exciting opportunity to join CAMHS as a Clinician , where you will be responsible for:
Accepting accountability for the outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues.
Addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy.
Ensuring optimal consumer care, focusing on achieving the best possible health and recovery outcomes for consumers.
Providing assessment, education, counselling, and group work, which are essential components of care.
Consulting and liaising with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organizations to support consumer care.
Using clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in providing direction, support, orientation, and education to other staff members.
Leading and participating in action research projects, quality improvement activities, and policy development within the practice setting.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The relevant degree/registration/qualification for your respective discipline.
Extensive clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions of a complex nature with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive mental health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships across disciplines.
