The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and collaboration, where everyone's skills and expertise are valued and appreciated.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy Commercial Mechanic to join the team at Recar BrisbaneYou will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.
Your expertise in diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostics will contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.Role ResponsibilitiesDiagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical componentsDismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension partsQuality control and inspection of vehiclesTest driving vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standardsLabel parts and store as per workshop standardsCheck new parts are correct and undamagedPerform any adaptations based on completed diagnosesClean work bay and workshop areasDoes this sound like you?Experienced and trained as a qualified Mechanic (Essential)Experience in the heavy smash industry (Desirable)HR Truck Licence (Desirable)Strong commitment to safetyDesire to grow and build skills with an out-of-the-box approachGood attitude, with excellent communication skillsHigh attention to detail and process-drivenDemonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your approach to workBenefitsReward & recognitionCareer development and trainingReferral bonus for recommending a friend to work with usDiscounts on parts and toolsUniforms24/7 professional counselling for team members and their immediate familiesWe champion our team because it's our people that set us apart and drive our business' success.
