Ongoing projects within a Darwin Onshore Processing Facility5:2 local Darwin residents or FIFO 2:1 from Perth or BrisbaneWould suit a Project Manager with a SMP backgroundLead the day-to-day delivery of multiple construction and remediation Oil and Gas projects in the Northern Territory.THE ROLEProject Management/DeliveryManage all aspects of the project including contract and client management, estimating, programming of work and defect rectificationCoordinate direct labour and subcontractorsManage project start-up, maintain project schedule and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetingsReport on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activityMaintain the project site, premises, plant & equipmentEnsure compliance with HSEQ requirementsEmployee RelationsFoster channels of communication on site to engage with employees to create positive workforce cultureMotivate project team and ensure accountable to delivering with efficiency and effectivenessEnsure employee performance reviews are completed, and any issues are addressedCommercialTake ownership of all commercial aspects of projectManage and analyse project expenditure and durationPre - ContractEngage with clients and internal subject matter experts at precontract stage to understand scope, and contribute to tender processABOUT YOUAlong with extensive project management and delivery skills, you will have a SMP background (Structural Mechanical Piping) that includes one or more of the following;Structural or Mechanical Engineer with Project Manager experiencePlanner who has worked in field in O&G and has knowledge of PrimaveraYou will have experience in managing Projects in and around the Oil and Gas industry along with leadership skills, commercial acumen and planning and programming skills.Desirable QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management, or similarTHE BENEFITSOngoing rewards & recognition programsPaid parental leaveSalary sacrifice optionsEmployee Assistance ProgramNovated lease optionsSubmit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
