Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Our client is a leading Independent and Australian Owned, international company with its manufacturing facility and head office in Perth, Western Australia. With its state of the art Steel Mill and Manufacturing facility just north of Perth, it is a unique and the only running company in Australia to combine both the milling of Chromium Carbide Wear Plate and the fabrication of field ready applications.My client is a bespoke organisation that does not offer run of the mill applications and parts, but will design and fabricate applications to meet client specifications and requirements. They are a manufacturer of premium products and services providing excellent value and cost-effective wear solutions, whilst ensuring safety in design and application. They are stage 2 ISO Quality accredited for Health and Safety, Environmental and Risk Management.The OpportunityDue to continued growth, we are seeking 2 dynamic and results-driven Account Managers to join our team. We are looking for one in Western Australia (Perth or Pilbara Based) and one for Queensland (Location Negotiable).The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and growing our client base through inorganic and organic growth, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the manufacturing, steel, mining and heavy machinery/plant industries.Position Summary:The Account Manager serves to understand the customer's demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result. Account managers serve as the interface between the customer and their service requirements, and the company.You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, negotiate contracts and secure agreements to maximize profits and company exposure to develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders (i.e. Site Maintenance Managers) and executive sponsors (i.e. Chief Operating Officer, Procurement Managers).Key Responsibilities of the positions will include, but not be limited to:Engagement with existing customers to develop strong commercial and meaningful relationships.Inorganic and organic business growth through opportunities and use proactive prospecting by being market and industry astute and aware of upcoming or existing projects and engage with key stakeholders prior to tender.Resourcing effectively, managing the supply chain process and dealing with relevant third parties to deliver on customer expectations.Sourcing prospective clients through directories, industry contacts and networks.Providing ongoing sales support to new and existing clients.Liaising with managers to understand customer requirements and optimal sales approach.Demonstrating credibility with customers by engaging in technical discussions and presentations to support with engineering and technical enquiries.Ensuring up to date product knowledge and services offered.Meeting with potential and existing customers to identify sales and revenue growth opportunities.Complete reporting, pipeline updates and accounts in a timely mannerMeeting sales targets in accordance with predetermined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Assessing customer needs and tailoring client focused solutions.Negotiating prices, providing quotes and terms and issuing contracts and order formsExperience:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Account Manager in a large corporation is essential.Industry experience and strong networks; andAwareness of key industry insightsKnowledge / Skills:Business AcumenIT, budget, and report writing skillsExcellent sales and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and 'people skills'Excellent, verbal, written and facilitation/presentation skillsThe ability to work calmly under pressureBase salary commensurate to experience.Access to generous company incentive programs.Supportive work environment and professional development opportunities.Car, Telephone, and laptop.If these positions interest you and you would like to join a stable, reputable company with an experienced and stable management team.
