We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join our Commercial Litigation team who practice exclusively in this area of law.
The Commercial Litigation team is led by Specialist Accredited Partner Charles Lethbridge and supported by an experienced team of Senior Associates, Lawyers, and Paralegals who practice in this complex and demanding area of law.

We moved into our current Coolangatta beachfront offices located in The Strand building in 1989 and have continued to grow ever since, with over 75 staff and additional offices located at Robina Town Centre, Southport, Kingscliff, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

The Role We are seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of practical experience to join our Commercial Litigation team.
This role involves handling a variety of commercial litigation matters from start to completion, including disputes relating to:
Company, Business & Partnership DisputesBanking Finance & Insurance DisputesDefamationLiquidation and BankruptcyProperty DisputesClass Actions and more.Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and assistance to clients in all aspects of Commercial Litigation.Liaising and corresponding (by phone, email and in person) with other professionals, such as counsel, contra lawyers, accountants, and other 3rd parties.Draft court documents and applications.Delegate work to junior solicitors, paralegals and administration staff and proof the work produced.Contribute to the team's success and facilitate further training to the members where required.Attend to accurate time recording and keep contemporaneous file notes.A minimum of 5 year's experience in a Litigation roleAn intent or purpose in life to help people and change their lives for the betterWell-spoken, articulate and a friendly dispositionExcellent communication and client liaison skillsA high attention to detail and the ability to think outside the boxExcellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary skillsResponsible and have integrityA good work ethic and be self-motivatedA good team player attitude who will embrace the culture and systems of the firmWillingness to embrace new technology and work electronicallyOrganisational and time management skillsA willingness to contribute to the promotion of the firm and your own personal profilePositive/enthusiastic approach and must show initiativeAbility to prioritise competing tasksAbility to work in a team environmentExperience in LEAP software is beneficial, but not a requirementWhat We Offer Highly reputable law firm with an experienced team of lawyers and staffExcellent training program and career development focusLeading legal practice management systems and softwareHealthy work environment and work-life balanceGreat corporate culture with professional/personal development and trainingWell-resourced administrative team, IT, and office facilitiesExperienced senior lawyers for training, mentoring and supportExcellent salary packageThe Location Attwood Marshall Lawyers has modern, spacious, well-positioned offices at Coolangatta, Robina Town Centre, Southport, Kingscliff, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
