Locally family-owned and operated for over 40 years, Max Stocks provides more than 5000 fresh, frozen, and dry quality food service products to hotels, resorts, supermarkets, restaurants, hospitals, aged care, schools, takeaways, cafes and more. Servicing North Queensland from the Torres Straits to Bowen, out west to Mt Isa, and everything in between, Max Stocks employs over 100 passionate people who are dedicated to delivering excellent service to our customersAbout the RoleReporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, this full-time position combines customer service, data entry and general administration, to ensure Max Stocks' customers know just how important they are to us, and their orders are received and processed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely alongside our warehouse, sales and finance teams, within our hard-working but friendly and supportive Customer Service Team.Key Responsibilities IncludeReceiving and processing of customer orders via phone, email and web-store.Accurate and efficient data entry into our software systems.Compiling and distributing documentation including picking slips, substitutions/unavailable stock, invoices and credits.Effective communication, support and problem-solving within Customer Service and with other departments.What You Will BringPrior experience providing administration and/or customer service support in a similar (warehouse/logistics/distribution) environment.Proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Office and database software/programs (though training will be provided).Outstanding attention to detail, care for accuracy, and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.The ability to work under time-constraints, in a fast-paced environment.A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.What We Can OfferJoin a progressive, local, family-owned business with a proud well-established reputation of exceeding customer expectations.A hard-working, but friendly and supportive team environment where you will receive thorough training and ongoing support.Great employee benefits including discounts on our range of products.If you would like to be part of our successful and growing organisation, please submit your application, including a cover letter and resume, via the link below.
