What you'll deliver with us ? As our GCP Lead Engineer you will focus on leading a team of software engineers developing the GCP Cloud Platform.
The role will be responsible for building and evolving Cloud Platforms with technical leadership in design, coding, and configuration of infrastructure pipelines.
The role requires in-depth experience with GCP.
You'll also .. People leader responsibility for the GCP Platform Engineers Working at a senior level across the Engineering team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and customer experience experts Thought leadership and in depth experience implementing best practice automation on cloud, and DevOps engineering techniques, to design and implement secure, simple, and impactful solutions Software Engineering designer and implementor where you champion innovative coding solutions and take the teams around you on the journey of software development Critical Knowledge Market and Environment GCP certifications Australia Post Specific Existing understanding of Australia Post IT Environment is well regarded Technical and/or Professional Qualifications/ Skills Required GCP Cloud Certifications are highly desirable Ideal to have other Cloud Certifications Subject matter expert for GCP Cloud Platform related activities 5 - 7 years engineering Cloud Platform solutions and seamless project vending/landing zone.
Subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure - VPCs, networks, security, RBAC, Identity Demonstrate expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE ) architecture and operations Deep understanding of Kubernetes cluster design principals and best practices Proven experience within GCP building and supporting secure code pipelines, CI/CD, using gitlab, terraform Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages and an expert in some - golang, python preferred How we'll deliver for you ?
