Hankook Tyre Australia is currently looking for a Business Development Executive for the Queensland region reporting to the State Manager.
About the Job The Business Development Executive is to execute the sales strategies and customer acquisition plans as directed by the State Manager within Queensland.
Managing the relationships between Hankook Tyre Australia and other tyre manufacturer stores, state-based buying groups, wholesalers, franchisors, and independent retailers is a key function of this role.
The key responsibilities of this role Executes Queensland sales plans to achieve the sales budget results.Executes planned initiatives to achieve overall territory growth within existing sales channels and customer categories.Executes plans to open new sales channels as directed by the State Manager.Executes the sales plan to achieve sales targets and budgets across all designated sales channels.Proactively identifies prospective new customers within each sales channel and initiates sales activities to convert to a Hankook Customer.Responds in a timely manner to client queries, either verbally or in writing, as appropriate, and ensures that responses are accurate/correct and helpful.Communicates new sales programs to customers to ensure Hankook maximizes market opportunities.Achieves monthly sales budgets within Queensland as agreed with the State Manager.Develops strategy/remedial actions to overcome variances in budget/forecast results.About You Skills & Qualifications 3 years minimum sales and account management experience.Basic computer skills.Ability to identify new and emerging sales opportunities.Customer-focused with the ability to form long-lasting relationships built on trust and professionalism.Competitive and performance-driven.
