Your Key Responsibilities: Gardening & Groundskeeping: Maintain the beauty of the village through regular gardening, mowing lawns, and other general gardening duties.Maintenance Excellence: Carry out a variety of general maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards.Transportation: Safely drive our village van to the local shopping center and on occasional outings, helping residents access essential services and enjoy social activities.Why You'll Love This Role: Variety & Challenge: Every day brings new and diverse tasks, from managing maintenance projects to providing essential services to residents.Hands-On Contribution: Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your work directly impacts residents' daily lives and contributes to a positive, thriving environment.Dynamic Environment: Work in a community where no two days are the same, and you can take pride in creating a space that is truly loved by residents.What We're Looking for: Experience: Previous grounds and maintenance experience is preferred, ideally in retirement villages, aged care, or community settings.Independence & Initiative: You can work autonomously, using your initiative to solve problems and get things done.Communication Skills: You're comfortable engaging with residents and colleagues, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.Physical Fitness: The role involves physical activity, so being in good physical shape is important.Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for transporting residents.About Levande Levande, derived from the Swedish words for 'vivid' and 'full of life', is at the forefront of transforming the lifestyle living experience for modern, independent individuals.
