'About the roleThis is a 12 months fixed term, part-time position (0.8 FTE, flexible days) working usual office hours, based in our beautiful Southbank Office.Ryman villages and care facilities are dynamic environments in which clinical team members can thrive, developing their careers in many ways.
Our Clinical Education Team works with village leaders, the clinical quality team and team members to identify opportunities to bridge gaps in knowledge and skills, enhance practice for individuals and teams, advise on education pathways and support development at all stages of career development.You will be responsible for contributing to the continual growth of clinical education programs at Ryman.In this role you will:Work collaboratively with Regional Clinical LeadsSupport the expansion of Ryman's nursing and caregiver career pathwaysDeliver In-Service Education in villagesContribute to the development and delivery of emerging education programmes such as Ryman's Preceptorship programOversee student placement processes, develop and maintain relationships with key external education providers across VICAssess applications to Ryman's Education Support fundingProvide advice and guidance about career development opportunities to individuals and groupsAbout youQualifications:You must hold a current Practicing Certificate and a postgraduate nursing qualification at a minimum level of Postgraduate Certificate.Experience within any of these areas would be desirable:Teaching experience at an undergraduate or postgraduate levelFormal clinical teaching and assessmentSkills and Attributes:Skilled in a variety of teaching methods and mediaConfident to give and receive constructive feedbackCommitted to team working and big picture thinkingInnovative, creative and flexible to support the needs of learnersInspiring, motivating and encouraging leading to positive outcomesWilling to travel for work purposesBenefits of working at Ryman Healthcare:Opportunity to add to your professional skills with a rapidly growing organisationAdditional wellbeing leave and to purchase extra annual leaveCompany recognition and reward programmeAccess to discounts with more than 40 well-known Australian and international brands across a variety of sectors including health and wellbeing, banking, insurance, retail and moreActive social club - Movie nights, Award Ceremonies, Paint and Sip, food festivals, Treasure Hunts, Charity events and lots moreFruit, Italian Coffee, Ice Cream, Yoga classes and 'furry Fridays' (bring your dog to work)At Ryman, we support an environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
