This position sits within the Allied Health cluster and is a part of the Allied Health Multidisciplinary Team.
The team delivers Allied Health services funded by State and Commonwealth departments.
The Allied Health Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting Occupational Therapy clinicians to deliver well planned and systemised allied health services, by undertaking a range of tasks and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide support to manage client appointments and wait lists Prepare client invoices Manage and monitor State wide Equipment Program (SWEP) Applications Manage stock and purchasing Assist clinicians in preparing client referrals to internal and external services Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications in Business Administration or health-related field (highly desired) or relevant work experience Proof of qualification to be sighted All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-employment declaration form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses).
Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
