A Senior Estimator is sought by an established Painting Sub Contractor in Inner West Sydney, to manage tenders on commercial painting packages between $500k and $5 million.
You will be a client-facing Estimator with business development skills, who is comfortable meeting new clients and winning and pricing new business.The Opportunity:Working for a busy Specialist Painting Sub Contractor on commercial packages from $500k to $5 million on averageYou will be working with 2 estimators and reporting to a Director$200k to $250k package, plus bonusImmediate startLong-term permanent opportunity, with scope for further career progressionFull responsibility for preparing preliminary budgets, cost estimates, bid scopes, pricing proposals and leading tendersYou will be tendering on projects from commercial Tier 1 and 2 builders, and it is essential you have experience leading tender meetings with similar clients.The Company:An established Specialist Sub Contractor with 50 staff in the businessT/0 $15 millionReporting to a DirectorThis builder focuses on retail, hospitality, education, and commercial projectsPainting packages range from $500k to $5 million on average30 years trading history, established client baseGrowth plans for 2025, with a large order book of work confirmedYou will have:A Construction Management Degree/ QS Degree or similarPrevious estimating experience with an Interiors Sub Contractor or Principal Commercial Contractor in NSW is essentialDriven and keen to progress your career with a busy contractorCubit or Cost X experience soughtExperience tendering construction packages over $1 millionA steady career background with solid tendering success historyExperience dealing with Tier 1 / 2 Commercial builders is essentialAbility to present and promote the company's capabilities to major head contractorsStrong sales and business development skills; you will be comfortable meeting new contacts and developing key relationshipsTo apply for this role please email your resume in WORD DOC format to the APPLY NOW Button.
