Join Sunwater as Contracts Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the Burdekin Falls Dam project.
Reporting to the Commercial & Contracts Manager, you will provide practical guidance and advice on managing contracts, interpreting and dealing with contractual issues, and providing advice in the assessment of payment claims, variations, delays, and defects.As Contracts Administrator at Sunwater, you will:Administer contracts in accordance with approved Contract Management Plans and procedures and update contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information.Interpret contract requirements, and terms and conditions to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision-making.Establish and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and mitigate risk and maximise the commercial value from the contract.We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years' experience and a proven track record in contract management, complex value and time-based analytics, claims mitigation and negotiation.
You will hold tertiary qualifications in either in Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction Management and ideally have professional memberships with suitably aligned institutions, such as MCIPS and/or RICS.
You will also bring:Complex project expertise: Experience working on infrastructure projects up to the value of $200MStrategic vision: Proactively identify contract risks to meet organisational obligations and achieve the planned outcomes of the contract.Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership teamThis role offers an array of attractive benefits including:Base salary starting from $141,11212.75% superannuationAccess to banked time and TOIL17.5% leave loadingA genuine emphasis on work/life balanceWater.Imagine a career where your work truly matters, where you are part of a team that values you and your contributions.
