We are actively working to uplift and embed a Data Governance Framework that enhances security, ensures regulatory compliance, and improves data accessibility across all of Revenue NSW.While the roles are initially for a 6-month period to establish the foundations, we are exploring funding options to continue this important work into the future.Key responsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of the Revenue NSW Data Governance FrameworkEstablish a governance operating model, strategic and technical forums and grow the stakeholder engagement model for the project and the functionDeveloping detailed project plans, defining scope, setting timelines, and allocating resources.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to influence stakeholders and drive project successDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse business units, bridging communication gaps, and aligning project objectives.Previous experience in managing data governance projects, with a strong understanding of project management principlesAbility to develop practical standards, processes and guidanceExpertise in one or more of the following - data governance, data management, data analytics and reporting, or data sharing and assuranceData Governance knowledge and experience, including the ability to develop practical standards, processes and guidance to define how data is governed, managed and used.What we need from youAn up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role.For enquiries regarding this position, please contact Tim Johnstone via Revenue NSWRevenue NSW is the state's principal revenue management agency.
