About the opportunity The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) role works under the direction of a range of Allied Health professionals (AHP) to support the AHP's in providing an excellent service to patients and their families in community palliative care.
This role involves a wide range of tasks including seeing people in their homes together with overseeing collection and education on use of equipment.

Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.
To thrive in this role, you will have: Several years' experience in an AHA role, preferably in a healthcare / community setting.
Work under the direction and in partnership of AHP's to support the palliative care community service for the benefit of patients and their families/carers Respond compassionately and sensitively with patients and families experiencing loss and grief You will also be required to provide evidence of, Allied Health Assistant Certificate IV or equivalent qualification Unrestricted drivers licence Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
